Why portals reject your photo
Camera phones shoot multi‑megabyte images. Many forms want 20–200 KB. Sending full-resolution IDs to random compress sites is unnecessary risk.

Quality tips
Start with the WhatsApp/forms preset. If the portal still rejects the file, lower custom max MB slightly. Prefer JPEG for photos; keep PNG only when you need sharp graphics with transparency.
From image to PDF
If the site wants PDF instead of JPG, compress first, then use Image to PDF so the final PDF stays smaller.
